"Real interaction has nothing to do with clicking on icons or downloading files. It is about fostering a dialogue."

Mario Giudici

is partner and consultant. He studied product design in Zurich and attended advanced training courses in human computer interaction design, requirements management and qualitative research. After several years of diverse practical experience in addition to intellectual and geographic movement, he came together with Daniel and formed associés.

His work as consultant is characterized by a holistic approach. He dedicates a special interest to the process of development and design. For Mario, good human-centered design is possible when the right balance is struck between human factors, feasibility and future viability.

Mario considers himself a crosser of borders between different fields of work. His driving force is curiosity. Through his work a guest lecturer, he takes learning by teaching literally. In addition to his work for associés he spends time with his family, in nature or for social commitments.

I have known Mario since 2001 both in a work and social capacity. I have learned much from his open minded, solution focused approach. Mario has a unique ability to generate new ideas. He is innovative and practical. I wholeheartedly recommend Mario as a competent professional who achieve the highest results.

"Design is not only styling but also a way of thinking. Solving problems by means of design is its fundamental role. In this process every problem represents an opportunity."

Daniel Hunziker

is the director and founder of associés. After studying visual communication with special focus on digital design, interaction and animation in Basel, he began to work both in Switzerland and abroad. From an early stage, he put his focus masterfully and intuitively on human-centered development. He is a founding member and former board member of the Swiss UPA.

Daniel is an experienced Design Researcher and Visual Storyteller. He combines his passions for photography and film with his professional work. Using video ethnographic methods, Daniel makes qualitative research results come alive, allowing them to be witnessed and experienced.

He spends his leisure time with his two kids, as well as swimming and cycling. Furthermore, Daniel is committed to mentoring young, socioeconomically underprivileged people and is a coach and consultant for development projects.

Daniel is a User Experience Design professional I can truly recommend. (...) Supported by his associés colleagues, Daniel excelled especially in Design Research / Qualitative Research. He always sees the big picture and innovates with unique solutions to design opportunities. His highly conciliatory and pragmatic attitude were essential contributions to achieve in our work within this highly complex change project. I’m convinced that Daniel can take companies to the next level by implementing Design-Thinking in all levels of an organization.

Mario and Daniel of Associés proved to be an inspiration as well as providing pragmatic hands on support when it came to the design-driven transformation of swisscom over the past two years. Whether it was implementing a knowledge sharing platform, creating presentations, coaching trainers and managers or designing and organising a field trip to Holland their support was always a valuable input to their customers’ journey.
